Marina Inn Hotel & Conference Center to become Delta Hotels by Marriott South Sioux City Riverfront

Marina Inn Hotel and Conference Center is pleased to announce it’s  upcoming new name.  In late September, the Marina Inn will become Delta Hotels by Marriott South Sioux City Riverfront.  This is one of Marriott’s first Delta branded hotels in the Midwest United States and signals the rapid expansion of the brand since its endorsement into the Marriott signature portfolio.  The hotel will continue to be owned by Sioux City businessman, John Gleeson, whose family has owned the hotel since 1972.  The same strong management team, lead by Ralph Bobian, will continue to manage the hotel and restaurant.

The Delta Hotels brand encompasses a rich Canadian history and is a great complement to the Marriott International portfolio. Its growth and expansion into North America with hotels in Orlando, Baltimore and now South Sioux City, signal Marriott International’s plans to grow the brand. Delta Hotels’ hospitality and model of premium simplicity will also be growing globally with new hotels planned for major gateway cities including New York, Shanghai and London. The development pipeline currently brings the brand offerings to 80 hotels.

The hotel features 181 guestrooms and suites, including Deluxe Rooms, Riverfront Rooms and Suites. Riverfront rooms feature large windows with expansive views of the Missouri river and the Sioux City skyline while spacious Suites include custom furnishings and artwork in separate living and bedroom areas.
